Kayla is really struggling with the thought of going to school. She is very nervous and says she does not want to go. On the advice of a great teacher I bought The Kissing Hand and have been reading it to Kayla and she wants to have the stickers on her hand when she goes to school the first day. I am unsure if it is better to talk with her about school or if all the talking about it makes her more nervous. It also seems like we have so many plans in the next few days that are going to make it seem like the time is going more quickly.
I have the next two weeks off so I will be very available to assist with the transition.

She might be a little nervous at first, but she'll do great! Does your school have a Meet the Teacher Night so she can meet her teacher and see her classroom ahead of time?

Yes to Marika's question. She will meet her teacher on Tuesday, school starts on Wednesday. They are even splitting the class into two times by their last names so the teacher won't have so many children to meet at once.
Yes to Bana's question as well. It is sitting on the counter waiting for the first day of school. Did you want her to open it before or after school?
