The experience of being home sick for the day is sure different when you have to get up anyway to get a child off to school! I have been fighting a cold for the past couple of weeks and it seems to come and go. Just when I think I am over it, the sore throat comes back and the headache. At least this round the congestion did not come back, which is one bonus. I wish I could have just laid in bed all day but I had to get Kayla off to school and then pick her up. She struggles with being at day care so even when I am home sick and it may be more restful for her to be there I keep her with me.
