Story of a Magpie

Scout brought this magpie into the back yard yesterday and I was interested in taking pictures of the stand off beginning to occur between the cats when after Scout repeatedly pounced on the bird, the bird flew away! The magpie was playing possum and just laid there in between being pounced on until it felt good and ready to get up and fly off. Nature is such a hoot sometimes.
