Fireplace

I really don't know how I survived before we lived in a house with a fireplace. There is something about sitting in front of a crackling fire that just soothes the soul.

McKayla and I hung out last night and tonight in front of the fire and had hot chocolate and read stories. She is almost as excited about the fire as me!

One side effect, it makes me so warm and cuddly, I get quite tired so I am going to bed now and won't even feel a little bit guilty that it is 8:45.
