Confessions of a Prairie Bitch

When a friend of Marika's commented about this book on her blog I couldn't resist. I don't think there has been an episode of Little House on the Prairie I have not seen. I LOVED this show. In the first few pages I didn't think I would enjoy it. I really like the fiction genre better than anything else. After the first chapter I was hooked and read the book in about 24 hours. Being a fan made the book even better. When Alison (the author) describes episode of the show and provides the back story or what was going on behind the scenes I know exactly what parts of what shows she is talking about and it is so entertaining. I also find her optimism about life so refreshing and healthy. Since reading this book I have found that Melissa Gilbert and Melissa Sue Anderson (Laura and Mary Ingalls) both have books out and you can bet I will be reading them next to get their perspective.
