Reflection on the Week

We had such a nice week with the kids. It is convenient that Austin can drive now so we are more able to exercise our full visitation with them both this summer. Austin is juggling both football and basketball commitments this summer. It is good to be active but also nice to have some downtime as well.

McKayla says every day that she likes the Boys and Girls Club but I am not convinced. She certainly is not enthusiastic when I drop her off in the mornings and talks more often than not about her previous care provider, Stephanie, and says she would like to go there for the summer. I was hoping she would acclimate when she made some friends and I have probably not given that process enough time. I have a lot of anxiety about it and I am sure it is rubbing off on her, I just need to calm down about it.
