An Unexpected Kindness

When Keith and I got home today from work there were a few surprises that awaited. Kristin was kind enough to give McKayla a TV, VCR, books and movies she had outgrown from her mom's house. And the kid's mom had sent home two pictures she and Keith had from when they were married, one of which was a painting Keith's grandmother had painted. It was so incredibly special to have that and the unexpectedness of the gift makes it even better. Just when you think you have someone figured out they go and surprise you, I really love that about life, especially when the surprise is a pleasant one! So, thank you very much Shannon for the unexpected gifts, we really appreciate them.
