Apologies

I apologize for being such an unreliable blogger lately. With the new position I began a couple of months ago I have been so much more busy than I was. Not just with more and new tasks but so much more busy in my brain. I have been doing my old job as well as this new one and it is physically and emotionally exhausting. I don't feel like I am doing either very well as I have one foot in each position and I really like to feel as if I have a handle on things and am doing well.

On the bright side, I conducted interviews last week for a replacement for my position so hopefully I will begin to have some help here in the next couple of weeks for my previous position. I know even after my new person comes on there will be a training period as I want to give them a good foundation to begin from and to be successful. Life is full of new experiences right now and I am a "stay at home and have the same old experiences" kind of a girl. Through great change comes great growth and I keep reminding myself this is an opportunity.

I had a wonderful evening tonight with McKayla. We must have sat on the couch for an hour first reading and then just snuggling while she told me all about her day at school. It was great. A treasured memory!
