McKayla is 10!

It was party central around our house this weekend as we celebrated McKayla being a DECADE old.  Ironically "decade" was one of her spelling words.  I have learned that 10 is too young for a slumber party.  We started the evening with three girls spending the night and when the sun rose there was one girl left!

McKayla received a desk from us for her birthday and she loves playing school in her bedroom with her new desk.  She has also been doing her reading there each evening.  She had been looking forward to getting her ears pierced for the last year and it FINALLY happened.  I kept telling her we could stop at any time but she was solid as  a rock.
