I am working diligently with my time off to get Christmas present crafting and shopping taken care of so I can just sit back and enjoy the Christmas season. The last couple of years have been pretty busy with grad school so the season of peace and love has been more hectic than I prefer. I finished two presents today and bought the last part of a present for someone yesterday. I feel like I am nearing the finish line and am trying to not rely so heavily on gift cards this year and be more thoughtful in the gift selection. We will see how that plays out as the time gets closer!
McKayla and I are going to make sugar cookies and pumpkin pie tomorrow and hopefully make it through a few more crafting projects. Decorating the house for Christmas comes on Friday and then we can start wrapping and put the presents under the tree. It is all starting to come together.
