McKayla

So I received a text from Miss Pro, McKayla's choir teacher today letting me know of some misbehavior by McKayla before school today.  It involved some lying and some disobedience so to say I was not pleased was a MAJOR understatement.  It was probably ideal that I received the e-mail mid morning so I had all day to cool off and plot my next parenting move.  I chatted with a friend at work about her transgressions and she had this great suggestion they used at their house with their girls.  When the girls lied or disobeyed, that was poopy behavior, so they had to clean up the litter box or the backyard of the cat and dog poop.  When you are poopy you have to deal with some poop.  I love it and poor poopy McKayla has entered into phase one of her punishment (see below).  Phase two involves apologizing to the adults she was disobedient and disrespectful to, phase three involves no kindle and phase four involves pooper scooping the backyard.  Too much?  I hope not.
