McDonald's Night

Here at the Blackwood household we have "McDonalds Night" every Tuesday. Tuesday's in our area are half price Happy Meal night. Even Keith and I partake of the Happy Meal and our family eats cheap on this evening. While I do like McDonald's (maybe a remnant of not having it very often as a child) I look forward to this night an inordinate amount considering the quality of the meal. I have found it is the free pass from cooking and subsequently cleaning that night that delights me so much!! I am thinking I need to broaden the repertoire though to some other cheap, eating out options as in recent weeks poor Kayla has been asking if she can please have fruit instead of chicken nuggets. It is hard to resist the plea from a child for something healthy over something bad for her. Of course, I give in to her request!
