Twelve years ago today my first daughter was born. Ironically enough, I didn't know she would become my first daughter at the time. You may think that would be impossible but in this world today step-families are common and the bonds that grow between step-parents with their step-children are common as well. I can't imagine my life without Ms. Kristin and her smiling, Justin Bieber loving, self. She is a beautiful girl, a talented singer, a helpful personality and most of all a kind soul. She fills the role of daughter, step-daugher, sister and friend in our family and I love her to pieces.
