It is really nice to have an understanding supervisor at work. I had asked for vacation time today, tomorrow, and Friday a few months ago as the day care was going to be closed. Then I was on vacation for two weeks in early July for the family reunion. Needless to say I would have been back to the office for seven work days before being gone again and that just doesn't seem like enough. I was given permission to bring Kayla with me for some of the time and work from home for the other time. It is so nice to be able to work things out like that. Kayla hung out with me at work until lunch and now we are at home for lunch and the afternoon.

I won't be able to do this much more as she is getting close to old enough that she may be somewhat aware of the things I am talking about at work and I don't want her exposed to that kind of stuff until she is much much older.
