I found out on Tuesday that the day care I had arranged for McKayla did not have enough kids sign up so they were not going to be able to run the program. This creates a big problem for us as this day care was attached to the school and there was no need to worry about transportation and they covered all the teacher inservice days so I didn't have to take all of those off from work.
To compound issues, Keith was just told he was going to have to go from working four days a week to five and instead of the early schedule he had when he worked five days a week before he will be working from 8 to 4:30 which totally messes up the day care situation even worse. Also, instead of this being our last year of day care, now we have to continue paying day care into the next couple of years for after school care. Bummer. So, this problem will be my task for the day to solve.
