Updates

The medical professionals still do not know what is wrong with Jim's kidneys and he and Kimberly are flying to Seattle in a couple of weeks to undergo more testing. He definitely looks and feels better after the dialysis. We are in the home stretch on the home renovation, more picture to come.

Due to the business of the last couple of weeks especially and given we will be out of town next weekend for hunting at the cabin, I am desperate need of getting my household in order. Translation, much cleaning. The first order of business will be to buy a new vacuum as our went out last weekend.

The hunting trip is one of my favorite of our whole year. No, I do not join in the hunt but I do an awesome job of keeping the wood stove burning, eating snacks and reading the day away. It is perfect at the cabin this time of year, cool and crisp and the mountain air is wonderful. I will make sure to take pictures and keep you posted. This is a trip that restores my soul and with the chaos of the last year a little soul restoration is in desperate need.
