Reading to McKayla
McKayla and I finished the book Matilda by Roald Dahl a couple of weeks ago and as promised, I rented the movie for us to watch together. McKayla really enjoyed the antics in the book but seemed to like the movie better. When I asked her which book she wanted me to read to her next, she asked me which ones had movies as well! Silly goose. She settled on Charlotte's Web because it was the only one with a movie out of the stack of books but we are on the sixth chapter and she is really enjoying it so far. I had forgotten what a sweet book it was and am enjoying it a bunch myself.

Matilda was one of my favorite books growing up, mom even bought me the movie with Mara Wilson. :) In fact, I thought you had that copy of my movie. Uh Oh, I think it's been lost. Oh well :) Good choice!!!
